Who We Are

The Gluten-Free Cooking Club has been in existence since 2002.

Hundreds of people have traveled from near and far to attend classes, all with great success. Taking a class from LynnRae Ries or one of her guest chefs is more than just a cooking class. It is relaxation, experimentation, an opportunity to try new foods and products and a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.

The camaraderie of others assist kids, teens and adults in living the gluten-free lifestyle. There is always something more that can be learned or enjoyed in cooking and baking. The attendees enjoy eating the foods prepared in a gluten-free kitchen knowing all the ingredients were verified gluten-free with the manufacturers or by following the guidelines of CDF, GIG, and CCA. It is a a great break from the everyday.

LynnRae is a strong member of CDF, GIG, CSA, CCA and many local chapters and an active volunteer in the gluten-free and food allergy communities.

LynnRae's gluten free cooking and baking experience includes classes from gluten free experts such as Bette Hagman, Carol Fenster and GlutenFreeda. She has studied gourmet cooking in the Phoenix area and across the country with noted chefs and cookbook authors, and attended the School of Natural Cookery.

LynnRae is the author of a series of books: The Gluten-Free Cooking School Introduces: A Life of Fabulous Foods (new), Delicious Gluten Free, Wheat Free Breads for the Bread Machine; her first book, What? No Wheat? - A lighthearted primer to living the gluten free life and Waiter, Is there Wheat in my Soup? the official guide to dining, traveling and shopping gluten-free and free of food allergies.

With the help of members of a local celiac support group, LynnRae researched, interviewed and put-to-print successful Gluten Free Friendly Menus for many restaurants in the Phoenix area.

In 2004 LynnRae opened Gluten-Free Creations Bakery and in 2006 opened The Best Little (GF) Bistro with Vern Lang in Phoenix, AZ.

She is a Consultant in the industry as well as an experienced speaker.
